Unused sub on the bench, or maybe 15mins if we're 4-0 up. It's all about minutes.

Essentially. Same with the Nemane transfer - got over our valuation of him, plus Grant.

I?ve just finished listening to it. Relatively enjoyable. I always like hearing from Joe Palmer. Talks well and very insightful. I also enjoy hearing from Richard Montague. Speaks plenty of sense.

Very interesting and welcomed but from Montague about us being sustainable and breaking even. Given our history, that?s music to my ears.

Can?t say there was much that was too surprising. I?d have liked a few more questions that may have dragged a bit of tactical stuff out of Maynard, but I get why that wasn?t the case.

Definitely not as many mindless questions either which was good; normally get a few about cold chips, or the flag on the JS Stand.

Yep. They offered nearly a million quid, he?s reportedly got 10k a week and to stand in his way of life changing money just wouldn?t work out. We also paid 150k for Jatta whose scoring rate per min is better than Maccas in L2 at the moment. As gut wrenching as it was it was very good business on both players.

?10k a week to be 4th in the pecking order at Millwall. Nice work if you can get it for sure. I don't blame him going as it's a short career but I worry his love for football may fade at Millwall which would be a tragedy.

Is that fact, they offered nearly 1m or guess work?

I was told about his wages by someone but not sure how good his source was (he seemed to believe him) and it was reported it was around 850k for the transfer fee, I guess that?s all we can go on.

The point is more we?ve got a pretty hefty fee considering we paid 50k, whether it?s 700k or a 1m and Maccas done well too financially and in the meantime we?ve signed a player for 150k who?s banging in goals. I can?t remember us ever doing that sort of business, well not recently.

Apart from the huge CapEx from the owners the biggest difference of their ownership to past is the recruitment. No better than illustration that Matt mentions.

Wasn?t Scott and Langstaff ?100K and Jatta ?150 and we sell Langstaff and the profit is about half a million really says it all.

For us Notts fans it?s a real rarity to not only have owners who pay transfer fees for players each season but also have players in the squad that can potentially generate sizeable future transfer income.
