Yes we saw two different games. I was looking for the good things you were looking for the mistakes.

Come on Boingy that's a silly comment. Even us that go to many games including those on the board voice our frustrations of late. You don't go to any games but live in a rose tinted garden where everything is wonderful. Even many of the travelling supporters at Preston booed the subs and at the final decision. I don't boo within the 90 minutes as not right but if others want to do so - that's their right when they have paid their money.

I’m not saying you can’t complain now and again it’s just that a lot of good work gets ignored often. A player does three really good things-no comment. One mistake- comment. Is all.

    Grant MOTM.

    Maja was totally anonymous, illness!?

Back four and Palmer good, as usual.

Johnston and Fellows both caused some problems with their pace and trickery.

No complaints about Molumby or Mowatt either, but, in my opinion it is there we have to strengthen the team. We desperately need a (or two) creative midfielder with pace (and they don?t come cheap, as we know).

Possibly a goal scoring forward as well, if Maja gets injured, loses form etc, and Dike won?t get fit in time. And then the money issue again?

So, please some Pereira and Odemwingie types. 😎

Btw, what I saw from BTA yesterday didn?t make me regret we sold him.
Good sum up Swedish. I think youve got to cut some slack when players play every week. Only robots can do the same over and over. Mowatt and Molumby do great together, our best pairing for me.

Get your point Boingy but I do see the positives as Heggem and Styles have been brilliant for me. I am not a look back type of person as it?s all here and now. Wallace snd Grady need to be moved on with their high wages. Cole and Dobbin are not good enough.

We need a quality creative midfielder as whilst I like Mowatt and JM - they lack quality and pace and here lies our problem. Okay in my eyes is a huge miss.

Loved watching the kids last night and had a chat with Chris Brunt - what a decent genuine guy!

Wouldnt shed a tear at all if those four moved on, I do think Dobbin has more to offer though. Mowatt and Molumby have been great for us this season but could do with some good competition so maybe we will have a midfielder added in January. Brunty is a genuine guy, you can tell from his interviews. No side to him at all.

Jed may be a professional and great character to have in the dressing room but he has had quite a few opportunities now but failed to demonstrate that he can offer much so time to move on as too far past his best.

As for Grady, I think we all know he has ball skills but think we can equally all see that he is far too lightweight when it comes to the physicality of the game and too often "disappears" in matches. Again, time to move on.

I do agree with you about Dobbin though Boingy. Unfortunate name and I'm not saying he has not been disappointing but he is prepared to run at defences and in his brief appearances I think he has shown glimpses of what he may yet offer.

I like both Mowatt and Molumby but agree with Al that we do need a more creative midfielder akin to Yokuslu when he was at his best for us (I thought his performances in the second half of last season particularly dropped off so was not overly concerned at losing him for this one tbh)

Talking about midfielders, I'm pleased to see that Sam Field is having a great season at QPR. I really rated the kid when he was here and felt that he wasn't given enough game time with us to show his true ability.
