Better than some of our players

Probably just paper talk, but we never know with our management.

33 year old striker Andre Gray, just come to the end of his short contract at Plymouth Argyle, signed for cover of a injured player.
Take the risk of a end of season short contract, he perhaps might score with the chances our forwards are missing, get the club out of the bottom half of league one.

Young striker Nathan lowe on loan from Stoke to Walsall.
Played 13 games for Stoke scoring 1 goal. Played 21 games for Walsall scoring 14 goals. And 4 assists.
Try for a 1/2 season loan and a step up/challenge for the lad.

James Barry McNally. Forward/AM from chesterfield. Knows where the net is good age at 24. Slight doubt about his fitness levels as he's missed half a dozen games this season due to knocks

Lyall Cameron. Attacking midfielder plays for Dundee. 22 year old, chips in with a handful of goals per season. Closes raw talent I've seen to freaks that we could realistically could get

And who at RUFC going to coach him in to the new Frecks certainly not our coaching team but just might turn him into the freaks you mentioned.

my big wish is a CF a Smith type CF. If we do decide to persist with 4-3-3 then Wilks and Nombe need a real CF to play off, not a bloke that can't be bothered or another that can't move or hold up a ball to bring in other players.
I think we need cover from left and right full-backs a player like Revan or REG a young player on loan for this position
need to bring Duncan into the first team squad and give him a professional contract, with us losing McCart and potentially Humphries going
If humphries leaves we need a defensive ball winning midfielder as well

Let's face it, the problem here is that nowadays we need the finished article for tuppence. Because these two couldn't polish a diamond, let alone a turd.
There will be NO player development here while this 'management team' is in place.

Let’s remember, who was it that brought Frecklington into the club and developed him into the player we all loved? Now then, who was that?

It's the clubs intention to offer Harrison Duncan a Professional contract if he's good enough.
Unfortunately he can't sign a Professional contract till he's 17 years of age.
Which is the end of May.

We've needed a quality defensive ball winning midfielder all season and a quality attacking midfielder.
At least give the club until the end of the January window and see what sort of a sh1t show its been.

    Scout report from downunder

I've followed the A league on and off for the last 20 years. At one point when I lived a stones throw from Gosford NSW I watched the Central coast mariners every week. They went from a new franchise to a well established, well supported and successful club. The standard of football, particularly at the start wasn't great but it's vastly improved and certainly more entertaining than L2 seems to be.

Anyhow. Thinking back apart from Ryan Williams and Bailey Wright (who if we had 5 years prior would have been a cracking player) I can't think of any others. I remember a few NZ youngsters at the club in the 90s so must have had some sort of scouting network back then

    Daniel Arzani 25
    Melbourne Victory

Picked up by Man City in his late ****s, loaned out across Europe for a few years. Playing regularly in the A league the past 3 seasons. Youth international and remains on the international fringes still.
    Winger!
Powerful, fast, can run with the ball and always seems to find his man. Great assist record.
Young player of the year 2020
    Contract expires July 2025

    Noah Botic 22
    Center forward
Young and raw but many already label him the next Viduka
3 goals and 4 assists in 11 games this season. His first pro season. U23 international

    Nectarios Triantis 21
    Defensive Midfielder, CB
Currently playing for Hibs on loan from Sunderland. Great vision, controls the pace and can pick a pass

    Jake Brimmer 26
    Attacking midfielder
Liverpool youth team. Seen him play for Melbourne Victory last few seasons, now with Auckland. 3 goals, 1 assist in 10 games this season. Wicked free kick and good honest grafter. Perfect Millers attacking midfielder
