This will be my last post on this board.

This team have broken me as far as football is concerned.

I just can?t stand it any more. Absolutely no ambition whatsoever. We are going back to 2008.

They?re not even the best team in Rotherham. The players ought to go to Clifton Lane and see the amount of effort those lads put in for far less money.

That?s what footballs all about Millers fans. Money Money money. We are not fans anymore, just punters blindly following a team with no ambition and I?m not going to spend any more time on them. What?s the point? If by some fluke they went up (which they won?t ) what do you think will happen?

Been a pleasure knowing you all. Merry Christmas.

This made me laugh in his post match interview from the advertiser

Evans claimed his side were worthy of an equaliser after the break even though they never fashioned an attempt on target.

“I think our supporters have seen us attack in numbers in the second half,” he said. “Five or six times we've gone six v four, but that final ball into the box wasn't there.

“We tried to change it. There were four or five players up front at the end. It wasn't to be.”

He seems to think that tactical changes are just having five forwards on and lumping it forward, when he talks about football it is embarrassing, as stated we had no shots on target and never looked like scoring. What planet is he on?

I find it very sad to hear all this abuse of our manager who I sincerely believe loves the club. He has not been here for ages, please remember that. How long did Ferguson need to before things bore fruit? Give the guy a bit longer.

Agree with the abuse point. Can't believe our fans joined in with Mansfield chants. Appalling.

Sorry to learn you are leaving the board Nardendee, most of the Millers fans feel the same,
with how the club has fallen into disarray, in which fans believe it won't change until the
board at the club realise that they can not keep pulling the wool over fans eyes.

Every year we hear the same sentence from our chairman Tony Stewart, that he & the club
realise mistakes have been made, & that things will change.
But things never change at our club, we has fans knew Steve Evans was brought back to sell
season tickets, with the appointment now looking to blow up in Tony Stewarts face.
The board at the club, no one with football knowledge, regarding valuations in buying &
selling players, with lengths of contracts & wages.
Paul Douglas does not have football knowledge regarding these issues, so needs replacing with
a new CEO who knows the system of running a club.
The club has issues in drawing a respected manager / head-coach, because the club is behind
on different issues to do with football.
Yes we have a new ground, but the training ground is not a standard that some bosses coming
    to the club would expect.
The club now has to cut away the dinosaur attitude at the club, start with Evans, Raynor &
    Douglas, cut ties with them.
Tony Stewart has to realise that the club needs a injection of new investment into the club, because
he alone can not compete financially against other clubs.
The premier league is for Billionaires, the championship is for multi-millionaires, league one is for
millionaires, who can have a season with promotion in the championship, but then return to league one.
But league two has a few millionaires, but I would say a consortium of people financing the clubs,
unless a club gets financial backing from investors, like Wrexham FC.

What I would say Nardendee, think about making a decision to leave the board, see what time brings
into the club, have a break over Christmas & through the January transfer window, you may hopefully have
    second thoughts.

Think on Mate, Once a Miller, Always a Miller.

On a positive note Kettle Jnr is a better ref than Kettle Snr.

Totally agree pal. Thought he let the game flow for niggling trips and pull backs. His Dad would have had it 5-3 on yellows.

Quite an open approach to the game by young Kettle.

Ffs as hard as it is don't let it break you, yes it's frustrating, but I wouldn't want you or anyone else to stop posting your thoughts about how you look at things. UTM

I went yesterday, and a very poor game quality wise which was no surprise considering the gale force wind. However, we played reasonably well first half and got in behind them down our left side 2 or 3 times and then put in a poor cross. Lots of posession in the first half without creating one decent chance, and then Nombe decides to head a ball that he can only head back towards his own net, when he should have left it, and put it on a plate for their player to score. The first 15 mins or so of 2nd half we couldn't get out of our own half as Mansfield ran us ragged, but eventually we managed to start to get forward but without ever looking like we would score. I thought Phillips in goal did well, he had no chance with the goal, and whilst his kicking down field was hampered by the wind, he regularly threw the ball out to the full backs to try and get us going forward but all in all a poor quality game, which considering the conditions is no surprise, and one big mistake by us to gift them their winner. Professional footy has changed forever. When I think of The Millers I think of people like King Ronnie, John Beckin, John Green etc. Players that loved the club and the fans , still do and still live in the area. Nowadays it?s just a load of blokes from anywhere moving around, wherever their agents can get the best deal. It will never be the same again.
Keep posting fella, your posts are always worth reading.
