Great result and really dug in without Palmer being seriously tested.
A well earned, hard fought point. This squad seriously needs some improvement in the forthcoming window.
Looked like Chris Wilder having a right go at the ref afterwards, what a pr@t.
That was a good performance. Personally thought that we just edged it but overall a draw was a fair result. Molumby was MOM for me. Diakite did get better as the game progressed. Except for saving players I don’t see the point in so many subs and as has already been stated, taking off potential match winners for also rans does not improve the prospects of a winner.
I would also like to add and agree with Boingy in that I can’t understand the continual criticism of Furlong. In my humble opinion, he does a decent enough job. All a matter of opinions though!
Really good performance and a well deserved point. Only a blind man would deny Molumby MOM. However, this use of substitutes both irritates and baffles me. Is there now some rule that they absolutely must be made about the hour mark? Should they be made when they seriously disrupt the positive manner in which the team is playing? Is it right to take players off (except for injuries) who are showing their importance especially as those coming on are nowhere near comparable to those exiting?
Good point and loved the end to end game - so unlike CC?s boring style of play!
Tremendous, spirited performance from Molumby. Always ‘sails close to the wind’ but got away with it a bit today. I thought his reaction to the Swift ‘duck out’ and to Diakite for some early ‘lazy’ errors were spot on.
Substitutions were somewhat odd, but to be fair we saw out the game and continue to threat.
Not quite the Battle of Bramhall Line….but a feisty effort.
