You need to stop blaming the Yanks for everything, they employ people to run the hospitality blame lies at their door

Exactly - they employ them, standards have slipped massively and yet they still employ them. Of course it's Nelms' fault.

Would you seriously want any of these clowns near a boardroom, have you forgotten about their attempts to ?build bridges? with locals, they squandered the funds, but hey the high viz jackets was money well spent

Not a member and don't agree with direction they took to become DSA light

They should have a representative on the board though.

But nelms does as he pleases.

Other than knocking down 2 stands, what can the owners do about Dens? Please take into account that there is no potential to generate non football money at Dens.

Please no Isle of Man, interest rates, bankrolling, volunteer, presentations, etc.
I think you might be right about the difficulty to generate non football money at Dens. Is there non football money that could be generated somehow, elsewhere? The thought has never entered my head. Obviously, doing better on the pitch could generate significant funds, moving up from 4.500 ST holders to 7500 ST holders could bring in an extra ?1m, getting into contention for cup runs could generate more money, and finishing higher up the league will bring in more cash but all that relates to football.

Is there a model club we could copy?

B cram I don't think we have 4500 season tic holders.....a guid but off that I suspect.

10 years ago you cud see where Scottish football was going, less and less PATG and season tics was the way forward.

The Americans have done very little to increase the fan base.

Last time we had any kind of significant jump in season tic holders was when marrs took over.....I think we were at 800 and they got us up to around 5000.

It's never too late to try though....small steps 200 extra next season 200 the next but I think we have such an alienated support even that would be difficult and take a concentrated effort from the club.

That's my main gripe with the yanks....they are in a business where their customers want success for the business but they have managed to completely **** a large minority off.

I really don't see many clubs fans with such a fractured relationship with their owners
