Notts 2 Barrow 1
If MAD predictors had been collectively right every game all season, which is to say the average goals predicted for and average goals against had been matched by Notts in reality each fixture, we'd have only lost three games so far (Tranmere away, Chesterfield away and Walsall away), we'd have scored in every single match but only kept one clean sheet (Tranmere home).
We would also be 16 points clear of Walsall at the top of the table with 83 points.
I fully expect us to win tomorrow, it's the stand-out easiest game on paper of the remaining fixtures.
I forgot to add that, had MAD predictors as a whole been correct each game, we'd have smashed the club record winning sequence by taking the 3 points in all of the last 12 games on the bounce which (along with the other Prediction league stats I mentioned) maybe tells us that the general tone of NCMAD is wildly over-optimistic. It's only a one season sample though (and an incomplete one at that), it would have been interesting to compare this season's prediction stats with the Nolan play off campaign and the Munto season amongst others. it's very possible there'd be next to no difference and that most fans just tend to back their own team regardless of the circumstances, or that this forum has become measurably more or less realistic.
