It's not so much the game, it's the meet up before (dear old Moulders!) and just the chat and laughs whatever the game was like. I think a few of us were there for our lowest ever Milmoor attendance (1.5k wasn't it) and regular attendance was around 3.5k. Still loved going every week, and still do whenever I get to see them now.
    Raging,
It was back then that we were hoping to become a club that produced young players so we could sell them for millions! That was the ticket to success and pride. Buying players and bringing them on to sell for big money. We have finally done that and now we have stopped and only because of the manager now. I never dreamed that we would develop players who would become international players. A World Cup player in amongst them but he was a loan player that changed his fortunes with us.

When I go back now there is usually a few French supporters with me. I am not deluded enough to know that they enjoy the weekend experience in the bars, pubs and chippies than the match itself.
I always try and see as many people as possible and a few of the posters off here.
Brin, gmgm, wrinkly, plus some ex users like Vespabri and chubbyb to name a few. We still talk about the old days at millmoor and folk don?t change that much.

Hopefully we will get back to what TS helped fashion and get back to a system of younger players with potential even if they are nice people.

Non-negotiable for me I'm afraid - call it tradition or loyalty or blind stupidity; I'll renew mine.

I returned from a long spell abroad in 2013 to witness the most enjoyable decade of football as a RUFC supporter. One or two poor seasons won't deter me from buying into the dream of greater things to come. That said, there's a nasty atmosphere around NYS at present and the goodwill that's been built up over the previous 10 years could evaporate very quickly if our current management team don't change their tactical approach and learn some humility and honesty - we were spoiled with Warnie!

I have a 120 mile round trip to attend home games and I consider the match day experience outweighs the inconvenience of the travel. However, I'm so disappointed with spirit around RUFC at present that I'm skipping the Exeter match in favour of a Six Nations day with some mates. So you can deduct at least one from the attendance figure announced at the ground!

I will be renewing - Whenever I consider not doing the wife tells me it is her only respite from me and insists i carry on regardless.

I remember doing a post a couple years ago about now being the best time to be a Miller....new stadium, football in the 2nd tier,a manager who cared, etc, etc,I think one or two agreed.
So now it`s not so good, but it isn`t as bad as some would have you believe, just remomber most of the 70`s and a fair bit of the 80`s,plus all the sh`t we went through earlier this century,I think we have been spoilt for the last 12 years.
I`ve got to renew anyway as I turn 60 in June,so I`m not missing out on the old B*stard discount !

Before anybody renews their season ticket, we should at the very least, have an explanation from the club, why this manager is still here.TS has sacked previous managers for a lot less while we were in the Championship, which was a tough league. We are now playing in a very poor league but still struggling to win games even at this level, with no sign of progress at all.The club needs a complete change in the way it is run.Fans are not convinced we will see any changes under the current ownership but we live in hope.

And some folk don't care about communicating or the way it's run as long as we win games and are getting promotions...
Some fans are happy with TS running the club as long as we win games and get promoted.
Nobody in the stands likes SE as the manager. But would be happy if we win games and get prompted.
This season we go from booos to Steve Evans red and white army.. simply by going from pizz poor to playing well
The last 12 years has spoilt us as millers fans where we think we should be and in reality where we are.
Fans who want a youth system and stability of young players who can be sold for a profit are delusional. This has never happened at rufc and never will.
Again the last 12 years have seen us sell buy and develop more than we ever have before and still fans are not happy.
