They say you never have a second chance to make a first impression.
I had the misfortune to have to attend the QMC yesterday where the corridor outside A+E was lined with about fif**** beds and after eight hours I finally got away.
My comment about first impressions, relates to the state of the main, entry doors on B floor which are disgusting, looks like they haven't been cleaned for years and only half the sliding doors are working. Is this the image that QMC hierarchy are happy for people to be greeted with on arrival, it would seem so. Surely one of their cleaning teams could be tasked with keeping these doors clean at minimal cost?
Another surprise was the lady who came around with bags of food asking 'is anyone here fasting for Ramadan', an interesting initiative from the 'Nottingham council of mosques', I was hungry as this point and very tempted to put my hand up!
