It's not excuses, just the reality, St Mirren are there only other ones who can claim to be weaker

We are big underdogs to finish above either SSB and Hibs

I really hope we dont get to see too much more (if any) of Paton and Campbell. They have shown to be good lookers and talkers and delivered nowt. At this level of the game to deliver nothing or hide (like some do) it is a massive liability.

JG survival kept us up, in a strong position, but his signings would have us relegated. Is there someone behind the scenes doing the scouting and signing.

How much do we want this?
How hard are we prepared to fight for it?
    We need to see it.

I hope to be proved wrong.

Ps And I don't care what anyone says, starting Campbell and Paton in an attacking 433 against Celtic was absolute stupidity. It does make a difference to the scoreline and the manner of defeat. And it does make a difference to how the fans feel on Saturday night.
And... it might have a massive difference (the goals one I mean) when we play Aberdeen. Might not, you never know, but risking it was not what I expected from a manager who knows how much that may mean at the end of the day.

From what JG has said it looks like he will persisting with Campbell

"I?d like to see him hitting the opponent?s penalty area a little bit more.

I?d like to see him getting on the end of the crosses and contributing goals. I?m pretty sure he would have liked to have added a few goals to his game by now, but that?s just something he?ll need to keep working on over the next four games."

Great signings rarely happen in the January transfer window for teams like us. You are either getting players who are recovering from injury or who are miles out of the picture at your club. You are far more likely to lose one of your decent players to a bigger club... where they will go and sit on the bench. Campbell and Paton have both looked like they are struggling to have an impact in our team but the fact that we are insisting on playing them tells me that JG seems to think that they may come good at some point. It's frustrating, but we have to balance getting results now and building for the future. I certainly hope that they both come good soon. because time and patience are running out. These boys would have waltzed into our team a few seasons ago...but we need to see if these players can find form because at the moment, they look like they would struggle to get into a championship team. I'm not quite ready to bin them but I would have them under no illusions that the probably have 45 minutes to win me over!

You're more generous than me Weegie.
I've seen enough and it mystifies me that Goodwin is persisting with them, potentially at the cost of a league placing. He's obviously trying to justify a bad decision. It won't work.

Yep we should not be playing any of the Jan signings now - we have much better players available

I would much rather VDS who was good early season than Paton
