Thread: Celtic H 26th April

Terrible team selection by the manager. One CB and he's just a kid. When he saw it was all turning to s**** he should have brought on Gallagher and Sam who should both have started. After the match, Goodwin should have put his hand up and said I made the wrong selections but no it's never his fault. More of the same old excuses.
A team that were doing so well this season by virtue of the defence have been wrecked by Goodwin's selections today and decision not to give Gallagher a new contract and not to replace Holt in January when he knew he was heading out the door.
Paton and Campbell have been dreadful signings. Thankfully, neither of them will be here next season.

I think the manager capitulated and picked a team with the aim of resting others for the other games ahead. Also, with contracts in mind, play them in this one and get that out the way. Campbell not worth keeping, also thought Middleton was weak especially tracking back, think 2 goals were down to him losing his man.

Also imagine them winning the league at ibrox, after a minutes silence for the pope?

Celtic won that without getting out of third gear, and thankfully declared at five. I wouldn't be keeping Campbell but he was far from our worst player today.

Seemingly Goodwin wants to sign Paton........ Can't help but feel that United are releasing a lot of players like when we sold a lot of players back in 2015/16. Two defenders this year getting moved on when it should just be one (Holt). You'll not need reminding about where we ended up trying to make a quick buck with all these youth with potential but no experience to lead them.

Paton might end up being the new Alan Smart, does nothing in most games and then scores in the last minute of the last game against the Dandies, never to be seen again!

Pointless pedantry after a humbling today but Allan Smart never ever scored for us?..one of the worst players I?ve ever seen in tangerine!

Think you might be thinking of Rory Boulding

I cant blame ST holders for not attending of games, the way they go around acting like they own the place and submitting locals to their sectariarian bile, the police and stewards turn a blind eye to their antics, Oh and who cleans up all the horse s*** on the local roads. WSTF
