This sort of thing has happened before so when I heard bout what had happened I said straight away that it could be terror related . I should imagine that was the general consensus on social media . Was there anyone on this site that thought otherwise?.

According to the police press conference no one has been hospitalised.

Good news.

I understood 4 people are in hospital with serous injuries, at least one having major surgery. Loads of others treated either in hospital or by ambulance crews. Terrible end to a day of celebration.

It was o that started the thread. I called the perpetrator a see you next Tuesday. I stand by the title.

There were chances for him not to drive through the crowd but he chose to turn into the people waiting for the parade.

It's true frog - I've seen the video. Wish I hadn't but there you go.

I'm sure many people breathed a huge sigh of relief when the perp was revealed as a white man.

Don't get me wrong, it was a gruesome event and my heart goes out to all those affected, but had it been terrorist related it would have felt a whole lot worse for all parties.
