    Turns out a lot of that Craig Hope article was fairly accurate.

    Mitchell rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way-very full of himself and thought he was above folk. Said an awful lot but did very little. Was hardly ever there, still lived in Manchester.

    The feeling in the club is the opposite of what you might expect -him leaving is seen as a positive and appointing him was a misstep (in hindsight).

    He was never going to be sold, even before Anderson, and Parish was taking the p!ss.

    Glasner was on record just after the transfer window closed saying ?It was never really in doubt?.

    But also, by that token, people can?t really blame Mitchell for a transfer that was never going to g to happen too.
