Season ticket cards

A nice little earner for the club with the charge for physical season ticket cards.
Say 4,000 fans opt for the physical card, it brings in 6,000 pounds, which pays some staffs wages for the month.

Your calculations assume they cost nothing to produce which of course isn't the case. The issue of whether passing on the costs to the ST holder is acceptable is what's at question here. They should have been folded into the original price.

Plus have I heard or read somewhere (or made it up) that this seasons tickets will be able to be re-validated for next season if you re-new ?

I think there is a valid case for an investigation by trading standards. Nothing was mentioned when renewals were announced. And...there may be that rare individual who doesn't own a phone. (Ok let's talk theoretically) Why should that person have to pay more for exactly the same product?
But the main thing here is that the club.have been disingenuous. They have not treated us with the respect we deserve. We shall not forget
I think I'll contact trading standards just to give the club the nasty little surprise they deserve
