He got sent off at Arsenal for handling outside the area, and had also been sent off the previous week at Palace for the same thing.

He got sent off away at Derby the season before that for handling outside the box but replays showed it was on the line and I think it got rescinded if I remember right.

Game I am thinking about was indeed against Derby County Feb 2003 .
Has said later recinded by the FA.
Quite right also against Arsenal in league cup, Oct 2003 in extra time which stood.

I was at the Goldstone ground in the early 90's, someone got sent off for the same thing. We were stood dead in line with it and loads of Millers fans went to the front to complain. A copper said to me that it was in the box and the inept Ref got it wrong and now we have to sort it out..........can't remember who it was.

P.S, i was at Arsenal that night as well...............
