A good first half away performance and a game we didn't deserve to lose but can't blame the red card decision for that, it's all about poor finishing and then a lack of attacking energy in the second half.
Hull are 12 places and 9 points above us and for much of this game we were better than them but all that means nothing if we cannot convert the chances when we create them. I still don't think we will be in a relegation battle but things will have to change considerably if we aim to finish mid table or above.

Well, Hull will never get another such an undeserved win than that! Also, why do we keep getting sh!te referees, the bloke today was terrible, the worst I’ve seen for a long time, how the hell do they get the job? It was never a red card in a million years but our finishing (or lack of it) was the real problem. Mason did get the team playing quite well, especially first half but you cannot afford to miss such gilt edged chances.
A game we should have won ,easily on our first half performance, absolutely clueless in the second , price pissing me off laughing with one of there players as the guy was about to take the spot kick , pathetic pen to give away just not professional enough. For once couldn't blame the manager just crap in front of goal , feel sorry for the fans who pay good money week in week out to watch this sh it.
To be honest, what I am becoming more and more annoyed at is the number of games that we have been the better side but have missed so many gilt edge chances. To compound this we then needlessly give away silly goals. It happens so many times that there has to be a reason for it, lack of concentration or what? I do not know. I wish somebody did!
That's the problem isn't it? Someone needs to play alongside Heggabo. Ordinarily the answer would be either an in-form Price or Maja but clearly neither of these are performing. This leaves Iling Junior, Bany or Dike. Junior has been underwhelming, Dike may be ok as a target man (if he gets the service) but can't see him do the running and that leaves Bany who we have seen little of. Maybe time to give him a starting opportunity?
If we continue to falter in our attacking play then I'd also like to see Bostock and Dike given their chance. As for the transfer window, I'm sure the club must have their eyes on certain players but admit to not being overly hopeful 😞
Mason does not have the balls to try Bostock and completely out of his depth at tactical changes. Take Saturday you come out after half time - what was his plan? What was his tactical nous to get back into the match?
You can not blame the players as other managers ie Preston, Millwall and Hull are getting the best out of their players who are no better.
Personally I would not trust Mason with a fiver in the January window. Lose against Bristol then if I was Patel - I would sack Mason and his staff and replace Nestor too.
Its not bad luck as our position is disgraceful and things are not improving. Sadly football is 90 minutes and not 45 - putting the ball in the net and for bell ends not to get the red card.
I will enjoy my Boxing Day with a nice bottle of red with mince pies and brandy sauce despite what garbage Mr Clueless serves up 😭
Happy Xmas 😂
Unfortunately, it isn't Mason you have to trust with your fiver Al as much as Nestor. Mason can have his say of course over the players he would like to keep, sell or recruit but ultimately not down to him.
Anyhow, let's hope the bottle of red/ mince pies/ brandy sauce combo and having family around on Boxing Day is made all the more enjoyable by a win for the Albion!
