Clark already looks depressed - of another job comes along he?s likely to go.
Why would he stay - clubs in free fall
From where we were with Warney to this is obscene.
Board should be ashamed !

Was there last night. Clark can't do much with the squad he's been left with. I'd give him the managers job for next season. 2nd half better but like he said after he's limited to how many minutes he can give the likes of Hall & Yearwood building them up after their injuries. Baptist we'll miss him next season along with Gore but others we won't.

You're right Stan,Lee has already identified there are problems at the club that need sorting.TS has had no intention of investing to solve these problems over the years, so unless Phil can find us a buyer and run this club properly, we will stagnate even further.I understand there was a protest against the Board by not attending the last two matches.
Intrigued to know where Steve McClaren and Paul Simpson fit into the scenario.
If the club were banking on a sudden turn of results they were well mistaken, and we are still awaiting any news of prices for next year,
probably linked to the former and now reviewing what they think they can get away with…..and or should that inc clark as manager?
I don’t think the answer to either of those things will be anytime soon.
Are we to hear the often said, we are sifting through many of the high quality applicants?
I?d like us not only to give Lee Clark a 3 year contract but I?d like him to given the full 3 years even if he doesn?t get us promoted.
We need a total rebuild of the squad, the culture and the DNA of the coaching and playing staff.
These things take time, stability and structure.
Swapping and changing helps no one.
Need to stop worrying about investment. Chelsea have invested over a billion in players in the last three years but just paid up a manager after 3 months.
Again.
Nice thought, but the fans would never be happy unless failing to get promoted meant a play-off loss. The verdict on Hamshaw was eventually pretty unanimous, but there were very vocal elements pulling him down in the first few weeks of this season. The only way you might see a bit more patience is if there are visible signs that the wider club is part of a shift in approach, and even then it's going to attract negativity from some quarters.
