Just read this in a oner.Nae much of a book in terms of size. A few interesting bits though. Barcelonas loss was definatley Napolis gain. I would love to see the carnage after the Spanish Cup final v Bilbao where it was a battle royal after Maradona didnt take too kindly to losing

I've just finished a couple about Brighton from their wilderness years where they almost fell out of the guff FL

Build a Bonfire by Stephen North which is about owners who thought they could turn their ground into a retail park (hmmmm) pretty amazing story of how the fans fought back.

The other was Gullhanger by Mike Ward which from someone who does the TV reviews in the Daily Star was surprisingly good and quite funny (a bit guffy mind)

I lived down that way for a while so always looking out for books about guff lower divisions and Non League.

Got Wheres your Caravan a while back (think someone recommended it) so that's my next trip reading sorted.

To be added to the reading pile:

This is next to the listening pile.

The shagpile, however, has turned out to be a disappointment.

Another cracking read. Couldn't put it down. (I did once)

How this c@nt got away with this is unreal. A great story of pure brass neckery

From the author Rob Smyth who co wrote Danish Dynamite which is also excellent

Avoid this book. I was caught short at the Airport the other day with only a few books in my bag on a last minute trippy overseas, so bought this thinking it would be pretty interesting. It wasn't. I had 'finished' it by the time we landed in Amsterdam, thank feck I had forgotten I had this in my bag I bought in Norwich the previous week which I really enjoyed....

Have you read Harry Shearer’s The Far Corner? His conversations with his local Smoggy shop owner remind me of some if the non-sequitor pish beloved of the usual suspects on the Stand Free forum.
