Did you know Scotland's highest court the Court of session in Embra was founded in 1532 a massive 175 years before the political union between Scotland and England. Worth knowing before the British MSM start with their F/ing Jocko bullsh1t.
Apparently it is possible that the supreme court will find that prorogation is legal under English law and illegal under Scottish law at the same time.
Which would be ridiculous.
Ridiculous disna start to cover it Jupiter. As you say and as it stands tonight the suspension of the Westminster Parliament is unlawful in Scotland and lawful in England.
Which is perfectly possible given that the legal systems are separate.
The Supreme Court will likely have to overrule one or the other. If it overrules the Court of Session, there is no respectful Union, no 'Union of Equals' as Better Together claimed.
It could rule that both the Court of Session and the English High Court are correct in Law in their respective legal systems. Amusing times
Edit The "Gammon" classes in the shires are going absolutely apesh1t on social media tonight .. I'm beginning to enjoy this Brexit debacle.

This sort of thing shouldn't end up in court. We don't want to become like America where loads of things end up being decided by unelected judges.
The Andrew Neill show was excellent tonight.
Kwazi Kwarteng categorically ruled out any form of truce or collusion with the brexit party much to the chagrin of Nigel Farage.
Incidentally the bold Nigel suggested the Scottish judges involved in today's ruling are bent. Remarkable.
