Perhaps he has shown in those 12 games that he is beyond his age and talent? You do realize some I say some cause they are rare young ones have extreme talent so the fee is based accordingly. Why are we so interested if that wasn't the case as we would have signed another young one from somewhere for 1 mil or under. I remember clubs signing up 10 12-year-olds only difference is this guy is 18 and has already done something.

Ohh i forgot to mention 17 year old MArk Viduka while playing local football here in oz was wanted by croatia and to make aligiance to them for international duties. We all now how he turned out and we also know he declined the offer as like me born to a different culture we still call ourselves australians as this is where we live.

Not having a go Cherry and i know the amount of money is huge and like some others has crossed my mind but like always the clubs money and they must know something so I'm in.
Some post quoted where all this money has come from well we got i think 112 mil for going up and most of it was supossed to go to do improvements to ground pay some debts so on but with this virus and not knowing when fans will be able to go they decided to invest it all on the team which again is fine by me.

Gone very quiet on the transfer front last few days. Reported that the udinese rod wants to go to juventus instead, than i hear he has agreed terms with us.But the rumors all have died down and wonder if our spending has finished due to playing first game in 10 days.

Casey and Struijk aren't good enough

Dont know about Caey but disagree regarding Struijk. Given little prep time after the re-start, I think he showed as much potential as White did when he first started for us. the lad is built, has an eye for the ball, and IMHO should be given the opportunity to sub during the season at Leeds as opposed to being loaned out to Dudds (as is rumoured)

Gotts deal to Hudds due to be confirmed soon and possibly Maizek there too.

Think Struijk will stay as cover for CB and DM and also think he is showing signs of promise. The u23 coaches rate him very highly by all accounts.

Mcalmont and Bogusz are both supposed to be going out on loan and Murcia has already been loaned out. I have a feeling that his season there is a limit to how many players you can loan out - can’t remember how many but think it is quite restrictive.

Looks like the restrictions which come from FIFA won’t bite on players under 22 but under prem league rules we can only loan in (other than emergency loans) 2 players at the same time and 4 in a season. So we have one incoming loan spot free.
