Hadn't Lucy Connolly already done that?

Thanks for answering for BFP again although this time you were a little slow.

BFP appears to be saying that if you think Lucy Connollys stance is too harsh you are a racist.

This is usually a lazy virtue signalling attempt to silence people that normally fails.

Not much anyone can disagree with here.

GBeebies appears to have addled the minds of what potentially could be reasonable individuals and turned them into boring angry reactionaries.

The zone truly has been flooded with climate-denying race-bait 5h!te. Just as Bannon desired.
Thank you for showing what I mean Mapperleypie in your quote below.

The whole case is literally centred around race. She said it herself, in the tweet that helped to convict her. These arent difficult concepts to grasp.

Thanks explaining the concept BFP it is much appreciated although we know that already., it was racist and a very stupid post.

However where you threw the race card in was not about Lucy Connolly but against people who think her sentence was too severe.

Is that really all it was?

Connolly's offence was "category A" - meaning "high culpability" - and that both the prosecution and her own barrister agreed she "intended to incite serious violence".

At her appeal, Connolly claimed that while she accepted she intended to stir up racial hatred, she always denied trying to incite violence.

But Lord Justice Holroyde said in a judgement this week, external evidence "clearly shows that she was well aware of what she was admitting".

Sentencing guidelines for the offence indicate a starting point of three years' custody.

So what would you see as a reasonable sentence?

You cant separate race either from the case itself or the reaction to it. If you?re trying to pretend there would be so many or any objections to her sentence if Connolly was a Muslim than I would not only disagree I would say youre not dealing in reality. Not for the first time.

As Elite quoted, the article I posted contains a clear explanation as to why she received the sentence she did. Maybe read and understand it and your opinions may just become a little bit more informed. From what you post on here informed reading doesnt appear to be something you do very much of, unfortunately.

It seems the French navy can detain British fishing boats but not boat loads of migrants, the 'Hundred years war' has never really ended.

Unless the rules have changed, the Royal Navy has similar powers to defend our fisheries, which I think is a good thing generally. In the UK, 'boat loads of migrants' would come under the scrutiny of Border Force, rather than the senior service.
