The league cup final was absolutely dire to watch but it was a monkey off our back and we had Pawlett and Hayes injured.
It's bizarre though that long term it's meant nothing. We have another monkey on our back, everything has gone backwards and it's obvious that McInnes is useless without Hayes.

I said yesterday and still think that without wishing ill on our own players the injuries to Bryson and maybe Ojo will be a blessing in disguise and force his hand to play a more attack minded team at Livingston although I wouldn't put it past him to play Logan and shoehorn Vyner into a sitting midfield position
