    Yup!

Ken plenty of folk who concentrated on the pound too much and missed their kids growing up.

So the Tariffs begin first thing Saturday.

10% on all exports to the US from the UK. The EU has far higher Tariffs placed on it.

Will the UK do anything in retaliation?

    I doubt it.

I caught a glimpse of my reflection in a shop window this morning and couldn't help but notice how much of a tourist I looked. Of course, I am a tourist as I was in Ypres, Belgium but that's not the point. So I ran to the nearest clothes shop to buy stuff that would make me look cool as f*ck.

Lady who owned the shop seemed genuinely worried about the tariffs as do a lot of other Europeans I have met. I'm sure said lady isn't sending boat loads of T-shirts over to the US so I was unsure how it affects them. Global economics not being my strong point, can anyone explain?

WTF were you wearing? Having spent a lot of time in Belgium, I looked like Fabio in my jeans and sannies compared to what those goofy bstards had on.

No idea about the Tariffs but I suspect Trump doesnt either

Not to worry though, one of his fan boys will be a long in a second to explain why they are a good thing and everyone else is wrong

Tariffs are a very big mistake and somebody really needs to point out to Trump that other countries don't pay tariffs, they are paid by Americans buying imported stuff.

His plan is to make goods from other countries more expensive to try and get more manufacturing back into America. He's about 40 years too late, as that boat has sailed.

It appeases the MAGA supporting fruitloops into believing he is doing it for them.

He will probably back track on these tariffs fairly soon in my opinion.

His numbers used to justify the tarrifs were laughable.

There must be short selling or puts going on somewhere in the background.

I know he’s thick but not this thick. Him and his cronies will be making a lot of money on him tanking US stocks.

The methodology for the tariffs is just insulting - not even expending any effort to actually justify them or hide the ****wittery.

Why is this clown still invited here? Just ban the prick and his goods/services.

I can’t be the only person reconsidering what they buy/use in future…
