This might put a dent in Walsall's season.
How many times has a team had players recalled while they are doing well on loan and it has negatively impacted on the loan club?
I know we all remember Yates and Grant, but there are many other clubs this has happened too.
A mate of mine, who is a Tranmere fan, is still spitting feathers from when Dean Saunders recalled Jake Cassidy to Doncaster in 2012. The recall marred Tranmere's form who were top of League 1 at the time. They finished outside of the play off positions that season.

I see that Walsall have Freddie Draper returning for another loan period from Lincoln City.[/QUOTE]
Not yet the haven't. Apparently had a bid rejected to sign him permanently
Looking back at this thread, and many others, I am astonished at how personally some fans take the departure of some players (and managers). Crowley did well for us, gave us some delightful peieces of skill to enjoy, and has a very good record of goals and assists and other quality moments. Definitely one of our best players, despite his faults, and often unlocked defences when no-one else did. As for his character, I think the biggest problem is an awkwardness in dealing with social norms. Maybe what used to be called Asperger's syndrome or some other atypical condition? A bit of a misfit, who may well have missed Bostock after he left. I will remember him as one of the most talented Notts players, but with a slightly frustrating side to him, and of course going off to MK hasn't helped - but Nemane hasn't had the same pushback from Notts supporters, probably because he came across as such a nice guy though also a bit frustrating. I don't think Notts got the best out of Nemane, but often did get the best out of Crowley.
There was no push back against Nemane because he didn't boast about his out of window contact with MKD (at the moment there hasn't been any indication from the club that they were aware/involved in DC pre-transfer issue) and his "audition". Nemane was a club to club normal transfer. I am surprised that you are astonished about how personal things are taken because I am sure you know that supporting a football club is a deeply personal thing much akin to a family relationship. For nearly all there is an emotional investment of some sort or other and things like the DC saga can be taken very personally and regarded as an insult to that emotional bond.
My emotional attachment is to the club and to the players whilst they are here.
But it?s a business and a cut throat one at that. Players will leave for better prospects, just as we will release players in pursuit of better prospects.
I don?t understand why some people act like they?ve caught their wife with the postman!
DC clearly wanted away to earn more elsewhere. It doesn?t change the fact that he was very very good for us. The way in which he?s conducted himself has just left me not really bothered if he progresses or not. Whereas the likes of Langstaff and Ruben, I?ve watched with a real hope they continue to progress.
Reading some of the social media posts by Notts fans has been embarrassing. We just look jealous and bitter and MKD fans are rightly calling it as such.
He was here, he was good, he went for more money, see you later!
