Granted he then has a poor 3 years and a horrendous last 4 months and is rightly sacked or rather a mutual parting. Mason you got **** all right you just hated him from the start imho.

    You predicted nothing!
I hated him long before he came to us. When he signed though, there were many, many posts regarding his shyte awful style of football & his judgement signing players. Spunking £300k on Ricky Foster ringing any bells? It was TAB that pointed out that he went through a league campaign, scoring 23 goals.

There were plenty of predictions, all of them right. In fact now we’re all talking about it, can anyone think of a time when I was wrong? Got to be honest, I’m struggling

Not much wrong with that, he’s entitled to his opinion.

I’ve felt a bit sorry for Mason because he’s had to endure repeated contracts being lavished on someone he felt was an embarrassment as an Aberdeen manager.

I never felt like that about McIness but understood Mason’s predicament because that was exactly how I felt about Calderwood.

Fu ck me.....just in from my morning run, during the course of which I listened to last night's Sportsound podcast.
Levein, McColl, McFadden, Dodds spouting the usual, ill informed, clichéd p1sh.
Anyway, this "fans rep" on....Steve something (Wilson mebbe?) from the committee of some supporters group.

I'm sure he's a decent guy but his appearance on there was embarrassing.

He could barely string a sentence together.
The garbage the "pundits" were spouting was there to be dismantled, but he put in a cringeworthy effort.

Steve, word to the wise, two actually, bide aff the wireless and we're nae getting Eddie Howe as manager.

Well their you go you've hated him forever so how can you say you have got it right it's just inevitable that any manager leaves eventually. If anything you got it wrong as he was here for 8 'EIGHT' years. Maybe if he had left around 2016/17 we could have said you got it RIGHT.

I'm no mcinnes fan but at least I cam admit that he turned us around from being utter mince to top 2 and 3. His time was up as managers all have a shelf life and we were on terrible form for to long now. Anyway I thank mcinnes for giving me some amazing days, LC semi, LC Final, union street open top bus parade, Euro nights, pumping huns @ipox etc etc.

Pretty much this. Cant believe the bile directed at McInnes over the last couple of months. I agree he had to go.

Before he joined Aberdeen we had a few seasons around bottom the table. He took us to 3rd and won the LC his first full season (... I think!). We've never been as bad as we were before he joined

Possibly. I couldn’t tell you who scored our last goal from open play, during months of relegation form in a piss poor league.

He was there 8 years, he was bound to get something right. It’s the monkey typing Shakespeare scenario
