I've had a look into it, and he finished third in the 1978 selection, behind the winner "Bad Old Days" by Co-Co, which flopped in the contest. Christian's song was "Shine It On", written by Bill Martin & Phil Coulter. They also wrote "Puppet on a String", Sandie Shaw's winning entry in 1967.
