I only need one account to highlight how foolish you can look EP, that's been proven once again earlier today. Using a single to prove a conflict of logic , yet your theory falls down just two games later. Brilliant.

Now that's being selective in the extreme but at least you haven't misquoted anyone today. Although there is plenty of time still yet
Well, I'm sure Jampie will agree with every word of that.

The true acid test would be the views of some of angry mob to anything Jampie puts. I'm fully expecting CAP LOCKS to be used if anything positive is put#standard.

Will be interesting to see, assuming the pitchfork carrying yokels haven't already scared him/her off.

In other news our overseas correspondent says we are likely to see a CM and a striker join our merry band this week, trying to find some names out, but we'll have to see.

Surprised no one has started a new Ardley out thread this week, since he’s only won two of his three first games of the season 😡. When will people start to realise that we actually have a good manager and some stability for the first time in years.

I think we all realise we've got stability, but I'll only realise that Ardley is a good manager when he's took us to League 1.

Chap, as much as one game doesn’t make him a bad manager, 3 doesn’t make him a good one.

Don’t you realise that posting after two wins is no better than the pitchfork brigade posting after the first defeat?

There’s a long way to go........and Ardley is neither the anti christ nor the messiah.

Stability would be as a league club. We were relatively stable as one for well over a hundred years.

It is better Don. As there was another Ardley Out thread (we already had an active one going on page one of NCM) created exactly 2 minutes after Dover scored their late winner. MagpieMike or anyone else can't get close to that! The under/over was actually 90 seconds so I'm a little disappointed with the pitchforks.

On NCM he is far closer to being the Anti Christ than Messiah, we can all see that. Shame we cant see where the barometer stands for the general Notts fanbase for a more accurate view. I honestly have no idea where he stands with the fanbase as a whole.

Your definition of 'Stability' is certainly a new one on me. We were a league club so stable. Hmmmmm, good luck with that one.

The ultimate definition of 'stability' in football would have to be remaining in the same division year in, year out. Curiously the last two times we've managed 8 seasons at the same level were both in the 2nd tier (1973-1981 being the most recent). Nothing can better 8 other than the 16 season run in the top flight that ended in 1913.
Conclusion - top two tiers is where Notts find stability.

😂 I like your logic! Stability for me is not what we’ve had in the last 20 years, it’s not only the constant league and manager hopping, we’ve also never had a settled team. It looks to me as though the Ardley Reedz combination will result in a more settled squad, better signings, and ultimately success on the pitch. I don’t think Ardley is the Messiah after a couple of wins, but neither do I think he was aweful in the first ten games of last season. Time will tell where he can get us. My expectation is back in the league and then challenging at a higher level.
