Never going to make the grade here and well down the pecking order. Can perform at champs level, so should do well in Lg 1
He's a defensive midfielder though, doesn't score and isn't going to create with pace like you assume. Solid player though.

Ag good we need a solid DM who can tackle and play in front of the back 3. I was reading something the Reading manager said which implied he could create chances which i guess he can. The other player we have signed should provide the pace necessary hopefully.

Edit: also comes over as a well adjusted young fellah in his interview, 'family man', fingers crossed he does a job and gets on the scoresheet a bit more, something he says he aspires to.

‘Huffing and puffing’? I don’t think so...just reinforces, if true, my theory that Warne seems to prefer players he’s worked with before and/or tends to look quite locally in his quest for new signings.

Apparently Elliot Embleton, a Sunderland MF, is on his way to Derby to sign a season long loan deal. There's also a rumour that Chris Martin was spotted at Derby Station...
