Turned down a contract at Exeter so he'll be on a free.

Not sure where you're getting it from that he's spent most of his time in non league. That's not right at all if what I've just read is correct.

Hilarious quote from SE regarding McCart and Kayode…

“I would expect in the next two weeks that interest will grow in different players as clubs formulate their plans.”

This after our eighth signing with two more imminent

    Thanks for that Pip.

12 appearances at non-league level, 8 of which were when he was a Reading academy player, 17/18 years of age.

185 appearances at L2 or above.

(Macclesfield and Chesterfield were L2 when he was there).

Far more league experience than was first suggested. Another player with plenty of games under his belt and at 6’3” is he a candidate for being “tree the second”?

Really pleased with SE proactive approach at signing players.
it really does show intent from The Millers,
And sends a message to the rest.
Really positive for the new season.

Gary Caldwell is outraged that #RUFC’s new signing Zak Jules walked away from #ECFC at his first opportunity. The manager and player reportedly had to be physically separated by agents and representatives during contract negotiations. He,s up for a fight then.

Interesting. As we know S.E. frequently gets in a player's face and that could prove to be a bit risky if this lad's not scared to fight back.

    Good for us.
Makes a change from other clubs nabbing our players.

About time we grew a pair.

Evans was scattergun in his signings last time. Some might say "too impulsive."

9 years down the line, he will have learnt a lot and will be more refined, but has he fully tamed his "impulsiveness"?

There will be a lot of signings (mainly through necessity). Not all will work out.

I'm reasonably confident, and it's all looking pretty good on paper, but the jury is still out for me. Let's see how the first half of the season pans out. One thing's for sure, it won't be boring!
