Aye, Kelvingrove is a great venue, assuming you get the weather. Been to quite a few gigs there over the last few years. Only once has the weather been a bit iffie. We've got tickets for Skids/Big Country/Rezillos, Burt Baccarach and Teenage Fanclub this summer.
Sneckie - What date is the National? Might get a ticket if I'm around. Gie's a shout.
Edit to add: Aye Pacmin, it's beside the Uni, where you're thinking, on Kelvin Way, 5-10 mins walk fae Hillhead/Kelvinbridge undergrounds.

Never been but it looks decent. There is a decent lineup there in summer.
I did something I don’t usually do and buy a ticket off of stubhub for Billie Eilish. She’s playing SWG3 on Thursday and I’m convinced she’s going to be huge. It’ll probably be me and a bunch of kids but at least I should get a good view of the stage...like the time I saw Paramore.
It's a great venue like Krakowdon says. I went to see Arab Strap a couple of years ago and been to a few other things since it reopened. Going to see Burt Bacharach this year. It's been good weather every time I've been which makes it even better.
SWG3 is the place to be just now. They've just done up the biggest indoor part of it and they will take all the gigs from the ABC. Already been to two since it was closed.
Tickets in today for Graham Parker at Oran Mor in December.
My Darling Clementine first class at the Lampie on Saturday.
Thunder and Rain at the same venue on 22 March. Do yersels a favour.
Maggie Bell at the Jazz Festival in March also.
All good.
3 in quick succession over the last few days: Billie Eilish @ SWG3, Twilight Sad @ Barras and Kathryn Joseph @ Lemon Tree. All decent in their own right.
Next up: Idlewild at The Music Hall.
New song dropped today, as you said^^^: https://youtu.be/lBcVrb-snPk
