Cant you read between the lines its panic buys..He is not good enough for Falkirk so we get him on a 2 year deal...That really fills me with loads hope..Your right we have not seen him, what are the chances of him being a dumpling, i would say very high..

    Totally agree Juan.
As Jedi points out, morale in the immediate post-ST era seems to be as low as it was prior to his departure.
It's all about results I'm afraid and 1-1 with Arbroath & 0-1 to Ross County has flattened the fans.
Had we won say 3-0 & 2-0 Paul Watson's signing wouldn't be getting so much of the mehhh treatment.
A cheeky wee 3-0 win tmrw & I'll bet PW will be getting man of the match nominations.

Not a box office signing, but a signing in a position we needed to fill. Not like I would trust Paul Hartley to spot a player anyway. May well be better than we think. Good luck to him and welcome aboard.

You're talking about feeling sick and wanting a refund on your season ticket on the basis we've signed a player you've never seen play. Both St. Mirren and Livi got promoted with average, workman like centre halves. Let us just calm down a wee bit, we're not going to be signing guys that get the excitement levels up.

I have seen more than enough to say Casba is a total and utter useless fk up...You would not even believe how much i want united to be even a decent team, i could not care if its Pope Rome is the manager..You know when you have a good manager players play for you they want to work for you, they want to win for you...He has been here 9 month i don't see anything at all there even enjoying them self....

For a start both had competent managers.

St. Mirren had a player of Morgan Lewis quality to carry them going forward.
Livingston were set up to be tough, defend to ****e and hopefully score from a set piece. I personally wouldn't want to watch a Dundee United team play like that especially since we are meant to be the biggest team in the league.

I'm not expecting us to sign Pique, but Paul Watson is a lazy signing IMO. There's hundreds/thousands of free agent CB's out there and we've signed a guy who Falkirk fans label as a lower championship level player (source: pie and bovril) when we've supposedly got bow scouting around Scotland, luggy scouting England and i'm sure Csaba has got decent contacts in Europe. It screams lazy and panic buy and is a complete waste of money as IMO he's not as good as Edge and he can't even get a game for us.

By god I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong but from what I've seen of him I know the majority of United fans will be screaming to get rid of him in 12 months time.

**** me I need a drink and we've not even played our "preseason" weekend game yet!
