It's all been a complete farce, probably even worse than two years ago. Forget the fax machines, £300,000 bids and cars stuck in the snow on the M1 - the whole thing has been an absolute sham. Why couldn't RUFC have just said "We aren't signing anybody" several days ago?

Must agree with this..all the articles that have been shoved down our throats about what we're going to do and not going to do..the interviews weve read..if we do go down now whats the point of trying to get back up when we know full well theyll be not one shred of hope or inspiration for the fans..they now know it will just be the same old..i realise we're not rich but surely we must have SOME money kicking about..

To be honest millertop, it's not just the younger players, why wouldn't any player who isn't in his parent clubs match day squad, want to play football at the weekend, given the opportunity for a loan move? It's not as if their wages drop or anything like that so I can't understand ANY professional footballer who isn't getting a game, not wanting to go out on loan and actually play.
