Brilliant final flourishes from Eddie and pup - well done!
It’s academic, I know, but I put in a spare with which I’m happy - just for the exercise:

As I took the WHEEL for this game I wasn't sure if Madsters had the HEART for it. However, once they heard the loud DISCO music playing in the alley they discovered a strong ETHOS for competition whilst devouring many portions of CURLY fries. With no time to BATHE all sartorial STYLE went out the window as the TENTH frame approached. Who was destined to BEGET The Golden Pin? Would the winner PARTY with some aplomb? All that's left is to CHART our efforts over the last 11 days and congratulate raging on a fine sporting achievement. In the meantime I'm off to invent the next WORDLE sport.

Statistics for July 24-30
Hardest word was HOBBY on the 24th which was actually the one day between us putting away the golf clubs and getting the ten bin balls out. Average was 4.53 but bettered by a full guess by Madsters fresh off the links with an excellent 3.57. However, I'm starting to question the NY Times somewhat as they report the easiest word was STYLE on the 30th but in actual fact STYLE was the WORDLE on July 31st and not even in the time frame of these stats they have published. Either way the average was 3.41 and Madsters slightly missed that mark with a 3.43 in frame 7 of the bowling competition.
