Gawd, what the Hell is happening to English cricket, it's unnerving.

Incredible win, and done at a canter. Bring on the Aussies next year!

An amazing performance and never looked in doubt.

I'm still looking forward to seeing us again this summer against the Proteas. Wouldn't have been saying that last summer!

Root, Bairstow and Stokes back in the team to add some steel. Total of 7 runs between them. I bet those who were left out are pissing themselves.

Laughing Magpie, who has been left out, as this is the first ODI. The pitch looks to have some variable bounce, so see if it remains the same when India bat.

Meanwhile, the other Notts blew a promising position against Glamorgan by losing 6 wickets for 30 runs in 11 overs and finishing up with a first innings deficit. This after electing to bowl when winning the toss, bat first unless there's a really compelling reason not to and in this case there wasn't.

    2nd ODI V India:

Eng (batted 49m of 50ov), 246 all out, (30-ish runs shy?)

Ind in reply: 27-2 from 9ov.

Seems a good total at the moment
