As some dissenters have suggested shoving this thread off the main board (HensonsPRman if you want to send him some hate mail
) what better way to make it on topic than to introduce WORDLE Football and here it is.
A 14 day event where the 7 WORDLE regulars will play each other home and away. Scoring as follows:
Wordle 1 = 5 goals
Wordle 2 = 4 goals
Wordle 3 = 3 goals
Wordle 4 = 2 goals (selected as we see Wordle 4 as par and 2 is the most regular score in the FL)
Wordle 5 = 1 goal
Wordle 6 or worse = 0 goals
Standard 3pts for a win, 1pt for a draw. League will be decided on pts then GD then GS.
One more twist. No point in being the home team without having a home team advantage so the home team will receive 1 extra goal. Don't worry, we all have 6 home games and 6 away games and as we're an 'odd' group everyone has a couple of 'International breaks'.
Starts tomorrow, or I guess that's today now in the UK. Here's the fixture list. Good luck everyone.

Didn’t see comp til I’d done todays wordle. Might have tried harder if I’d known. 😀

Fiendish comp. Cam, you really should be working for the itv light entertainment panel!
Like the millers, I froze on the first game, was slow on reading the dangerous situations, and generally got tonked by Bramley, who only had to stroll it. Too drunk and not a little fighty. Got sent off for mindless violence and tw@tted the drugs tester.
