    If McDonalds don't pull their socks up Danny boy could find himself in the National league soon...but as we all know he would be off somewhere else quick...no aliegence whatsoever... loved him playing for us but the downfall of Mk Dons since he went there is hilarious 😂

    400K = Lovely.
    MK Dons not won since he has been there = hilarious.

    On nights like tonight, he is exactly what we miss.
    I don’t have an issue with us selling DC. I have an issue with us not adequately replacing him.

    Crowley is proving to be a huge loss at the moment. He had to go but we?ve not come close to recruiting someone of his calibre in Jan.

    I never believed we would replace him like with like quality as we would have had to do the exact same as MK and spent over 300k and spent big on wages. What I did hope was a couple of the new signings would have been pretty decent, not as good but 2 doing well may help fill the void, it hasn?t happened. I get they may need time but that?s one thing we haven?t got.

    DC was exactly what we needed tonight; someone who can receive the ball in tight spaces, take players on and progress up the field.

    We have played 10 games without DC:

    5 wins.
    3 draws.
    2 losses.

    I would argue that we certainly would not have a worse record with him still here.

    He also wasn’t afraid to shoot from the edge of the area - unlike everyone tonight.

    Well it's a waste of energy thinking about him because as we all know he didn't want to be here.

    Yes he wanted to leave, but he was still under contract with us. It was clearly a situation of nuance and we on here will never know the whole story, but we could have not sold him.

    In the end I?d season post mortem, the choice to sell DC will be part of the scrutiny process.

    If the fee was ?400k the sale was a no brainer for a soon to be out of contract, unhappy player. Theres no doubt we are missing him though, especially in home games like last night?s. We should have departed the model though and bought proven league 2 experience and know how with the money.
