My Dens Park mole told me yesterday that before Strachan and Nelms had even appointed McGhee they approached the SFA and asked if they could just forget about his outstanding 6 game touchline ban as it happened a long time ago.

I can see where they are coming from and totally agree,if new DNA evidence was sufficient to solve an historic murder case the police should just sweep it under the carpet as it happened many years ago.
