We are still far from the finished article...

There was a few too many "balls over the top" against Peterheid and Brechin for me, I am all for pace on the wings but there was very little happening in the centre of the park.

That`s what I saw too.

Is it a wee park at Peterhead ? Looked awfully crowded down the middle ?

Got to imagine that the three more signings planned will be the " creative " midfielders and maybe a winger ?

Mind we`ve still got Barron to fit in the middle. Probably need to see McRorie making surging runs forward too.......

We haven't had a midfield at all, so I'll reserve judgement.

We need a starting lineup in the middle of the park who will knock their f'uckin pans in for an hour or so, then an equally enthusiastic m to fill in the final 20-30 minutes.

So at least 2 more creative midfielders needed.

I can't say I've been impressed by this Polvara bloke, I'll see him in the flesh on Wednesday, perhaps he's better live.

According to the Daily Ranger (I know, I know) we are looking to bring in a Benfica B team striker Lois Lopes also known as Duk. Recently capped for Cape Verde. Around 23 apparently. Signed with them til 2025 so presumably a fee involved.

Confirmed, £400K and 3 year deal. Looks decent on YouTube video. He’ll need to stay away from the fast-food places by the looks of him, a bit podgy for a young sportsman I’d say.
