It would be unusual if they were all a success.
But
This is what we’ve all been looking for, that and allowing the youngsters a fair crack of the whip.
Let’s enjoy it

This is going to be the most ethnically diverse Aberdeen team ever.
Another player signed for a fee, changed days indeed.
Going to be an interesting season ahead and cannot wait for the season to kick off proper down at Parkhead where we must be favourites for the three points.
Yaaasss !!! That's the spirit !!! COY (diverse)R
Interesting to note how the criticism of Dave Cormack has virtually disappeared this last couple of weeks as the signings have rolled in.
Now, he deserves a lot of stick for last year. Having the head of recruitment in place this year is clearly now showing its benefits given how far and wide we are now spreading the net - so failing to get that role filled ahead of the last summer transfer window was a terrible mistake.
Ok, we’ve taken in serious cash this summer (well done again to all involved - including McInnes re Ferguson) but fair play, in AFC terms we are fair splashing the cash, especially if you also throw in the £400k odd for Vinny in January. Still more to come by the sounds of it. Good on Cormack for investing significantly back into the team.
This has to be the way forward, buy potential, develop and sell on for a profit - rinse and repeat.
The sell on part has certainly been very good, lets hope most of the new guys also match up.
So well done so far to Cormack, Gunn, Mowbray and Goodwin.
Now Jim, get them playing attractive winning football and we’ll have ticked all the boxes.
COYR.
I agree, developing our young players and investing in up and coming prospects, and then selling them on on a cyclical basis should reap financial rewards and make us competitive too. We need to speculate to accumulate so to speak and Ferguson, Ramsay, McKenna and even Cosgrove clearly fall into that bracket.
I take it from those who have watched us play recently that a playmaker midfielder is a necessity?
I wonder if any player from our partners across the water may be coming on loan, gone very quiet on that front.
God knows what the Hernandez signing was suppose to be.
Mair dodgy that signing Varga, with the main exception being that Varga was one of the best players in Europe.
