Great news. We're going to need as many of our first 11 available if we're going to have any chance.
The Swiss have lost Newcastle's Fabian Schar though.

Its all over for Hickey he is not going to make it.Norwich gubbed in the play off semi final with Gunn the goalie badly at fault for 2 of the goals,Kenny McLean never covered himself in glory either.Sheep midfielder Connor Barron could be a shock call up to bolster the squad,it certainly shocked me as i had never heard of him but i know he helped the dandy Dons establish themselves as a bottom 6 team again.

    Squad released on Wednesday.
I always felt a flat back 4 in a 451 v the Germans had a small chance if Hickey was in it. That position is a real concern now. We're so weak on that side and we just don't have a deputy for Hickey.
Stuart Armstrong rarely starts under Clarke but his chances of making it seem a bit more optimistic.
With Gunn fannying about, McGinn looking off form and Hickey missing I've gone from full on optimism to expecting 3 humpings 😐

Not great is it. If ever a side needed a siege mentality this is it.
Pity we couldn't rule that new strip out as well. Mingin imo

Between the god awful new kit (what was wrong with that beautiful anniversary one??) and the injuries is really putting a dampener on things

Typical to wait since 1998 to get to a proper tournament abroad when we have a very decent side with everyone fit and they start dropping like flies, still have a decent team but missing some good players the would have gave confidence we could do something, just had a feel of meakly papped out in one of the worst Scotland kits in years

To top it off, and nothing to do with how well Scotland do, I can't see past England to win it this time round, it won't bother me that much though if they do just want us to do ourselves justice, the injuries will make it difficult

In the space of 3 days I go from getting papped out to we have a chance, then start all over again 🙈

Losing any player is a blow with our resources but Dykes was never likely to start in any of the 3 games. Adams and Shankland are still there and tbf a high proportion of our goals come from midfield. Would be much worse if we lost eg McGinn or McTominay in these upcoming friendlies.

The big loss is Hickey being unavailable, that right side is a headache. I believe he's played Tierney at RB before, not sure on that.
