Didn't Hecky suggest the board can buy who they want. However, it's him who picks the team. Put it this way if it's you that's missing your golf morning to take some frenchman you'd never even heard of around Oakwell and sell the club to someone you might not even pick. Would you be as enthusiastic as if you were telling your missus about a new 52" plasma you'd been looking at with sky sports and cricket on?
I doubt I would. Water under the bridge now. How do we even know Hecky wants these foreign players? Thiam has hardly played. People saying he'll be ok when he's up to speed and I agree. However, it's january. He'd be up to speed now if Hecky wanted him to be.
