Dan Burn starting to accelerate is like track cyclists when they begin a race in their single high gear.

Fantastic by Howe. I know big Joe would argue he knows his own body but great of Howe to make that call so decisively.

That was an appalling, half-arsed effort by Wilson, there.

Arghh, that should've been one back! We've had the chances in this game and should have at least one on the board

We need to spend big on a centre forward who can score goals, and take the chances this team creates. We’ve had a good 6 chances tonight and none taken, not sure Isaks a centre forward, and not sure he’s worth the 65 million, but early days for him I suppose. I know Longstaff scored the 2+ in the semi, but still not convinced he’s good enough to take us forward. Bring on the summer.

Yeah, very frustrating. Just hasn't been fit for some time. Always injured. Was a doubt today apparently.

Cannot rely on him next season i am afraid. Good sub to have though.

If it went in, they’d say it was a calm confident finish though

True but it was the sort of effort you see from a team 3 or 4 up rather than one pushing to get back in a game.

It's all moot, though, and I'm just glad to see him back on the pitch.
