I am fed up reading your posts on this forum continually slagging me off because I do not have the same political views as you.
However I will give you some ‘food for thought’.
I only post minor information on this forum keeping the important stuff for myself.

I like reading all the posts on here. It never strikes me as nasty and bitter, just a well mannered disagreement. I think the problem is that there is a fundamental difference between Sweden and Scotland. Our political system is based on a battle between those who want to make everyone richer by making the cake bigger for everyone and those who want to make everyone equal by splitting the cake up differently.

I think Sweden wants to make the cake bigger for everyone and I think that is a different kind of socialism.

Maybe if your views had any consistency I wouldn't be referring to you as confused. But they don't, they are a mass of contradictions, which usually happens when people are posting 'off the hoof', which you clearly are.

I'm talking about here. Letting the virus 'run its course' as islay wants would kill thousands of over-70s.

Rross, what an interesting comment. I googled it and looked and behold there is a whole range of opinions under the heading of Marxist Feminism. The basic principle is that this political thought links capitalism which is the problem for Marxists and patriarchy which is the problem for feminists. I am not sure that it is fair to call Sweden a Marxist economy, so I'd like to suggest that they have a socialist ideology that does not rely on the creation of a big bad capitalist ogre to be defeated so that Swedes can be successful.
