re: Cameron begs Putin to intervene in independence referendum

I have to laugh at the brass neck of David Cameron, Here he is lobbying countries all round the world France Russia, Spain,USA,and many more, He has instructed British all Embassies to persuade the host country to come out against Scottish Independence, Yet he wont have a debate with the FM because he says its for SCOTS and them alone to debate this,
A no vote will be paraded by the Tories as a victory for David Cameron. The mileage they get from this will almost certainly be enough to secure them a win in the 2015 UK election. Our reward for voting No will be yet another government that we have rejected at the polls and yet more policies that are anathema to us.

At what point will people say, enough ?

and the fact Scotland has little say on who will be govern us. I cant think of many examples in the world where a country can vote for one party by a landslide and be governed by the party they rejected by a landslide.
But where do you draw the line with this rationale? Aberdeen (for example) has a population of about 5% of the Scottish population as a whole - presumably if Hollyrood doesn't reflect precisely the opinion of the Aberdonian electorate, Aberdeen should demand autonomy? Likewise if the opinion of Bridge of Don isn't reflected by the general consensus of Aberdonians, they in turn should expect autonomy?
So, lets all just join Europe and be done with it thena??..?

Quite frankly a ridiculous example. There is a very easy line to draw if you know what the difference is between a country and a city.
