Do Fitba fans who buy shares in their club do it to make money though?

Obviously the situation at Rangers looks pretty dire but I doubt any of the small shareholders thought they'd be making any money anytime soon after the IPO...

Good point, well made. Unfortunately, given the dramatic downturn though it seems that ordinary decent football fans are out of pocket - more so if the The Rangers goes bust, while the fat cats and loving cup drinkers feather their own nests once again

Unfortunately, the ones who end up in charge are the ones who'd kick f*ck out of you if you tried to disagree with them. That's still happening at the DFCSS, the Dundee supporters club. Hearts could do better as there are far more fans to choose from, who'll have relevant backgrounds which don't involve how many times you've run a supporters bus.
