I've never bothered learning to drive, dinnae see the point, I walk to my work & can get a bus, tram, train, plane or a taxi pretty much anywhere else I need to go. I always remember when I was growing up & there were loads of boy racers in Hawick I was getting into Drums at the time so the whole car thing passed me by.

The one thing I would love is to be able to jump in a motor on a Saturday morning & drive up to the Highlands for a day oot, you can get the train from Haymarket to a few places up there though.

Passing your test gives you freedom and independence. Anybody who says they don't want to learn to drive is a liar. It's like fat folk saying they are happy to be overweight.

If i could click my fingers & be able to drive I would but I don't want to pay through the nose for lessons & then go through a test so your post is incorrect.

So you'd like to drive. Cheers.
