AFC, same could be said about going to Hamilton on a wet, cold windy Saturday afternoon in January, or a howling wind cutting across dingwall for a p*ss-poor ross county game on a Wednesday night in November.

All premiership teams have to compete for is staying up.

Attendances are dropping and I predict they'll drop further next season, while Championship attendances will see a sharp increase.

1. Premiership teams have more than relegation to battle against. For a start there's European places. There's also local bragging rights in the Dundee, Lanarkshire and Highland derbies. Let's face it - Scottish fitba will be awful again next season.

Folk can spin it any way they want but does anyone actually enjoy the fitba they pay to watch regularly these days? I can honestly say I've found the Rangers games I've attended this season (and I think I've been to more games than I have in about 20 years in the past year) really terrible to watch.

I have to knock back 5 or 6 drinks to go and watch a game.
