Pretty sure if they could afford Sharpes wages then they could agard but they dont want to pay his own valuation seems to me that Agard is asking silly money the kid was greedy when he first came to us and now is trying it again. I like him as a player and will back him while hes in our kit but im sorry but from wot ive seen ever hes bad advised or a bit delusional on hisown abilty to wage structures of these clubs.

I'm sure if we had a few 25-goal-a-season strikers it'd be the same scenario. I appreciate what you're saying but Kieran remains an asset at present. Anyway, it's not always as simple as 'sign an extension or leave'.

It goes back to the scenario of "footballers have a short career so they will try and get paid as much as they can" which is what all of us go to work for? I wish the lad well because of how good he has been for us as a goal scoring right winger. But as long as the lad has got a millers shirt on he needs to play, and realise where he was 2 seasons ago. And where he is now, thanks to stevie and co. He owes it to them more than anyone. If he does go, and returns to nys, I for one will clap as loud as i can. Like I will for tavs (if he plays) and Smallwood (if he plays!!) and as I did for dicko. Players come and go as is football! and as long as they have given all for the millers I don't feel the need to boo them. In Evans we trust?? If he goes is it part of a bigger picture?? I booed Pollitt on his return with Chesterfield. And I booed O'Grady even though he was within his rights to expect a wage. I expect Dicko will get some boos today, but I feel indifferent towards him, he was never our player. The same with Tavs and Smallwood.
I think the only time I booed the team was against Yeovil in a cup game. I never booed in the dark days. I won't shout abuse in Agard's direction, but I expect some will. Fans want their players to give their all, show loyalty and desire to wear our shirt, showing the same commitment as someone like Alex Revell. A guy who works hard for the club on and off the pitch.
Evans has said, over and over, if you're not 100% with us, you're out. You have to admit, Agard is not 100% with us. Revell could have gone and spoke to other teams on more than one occasion, he chose not to. Admittedly, those clubs weren't as big as Leeds, but if the Bristol City bid was accepted, and the money was right, Agard would be off like a shot.

Whilst he is still wearing our shirt he's a Miller. We could always get behind him during this time, show some appreciation for what he has given us and sing his... Maybe, just maybe it would have a positive rather than negative effect and he may score a few crucial goals...

As for Agard I said at the Derby game his heart didn't look in it and not because it was just Derby...fast forward to the Fleetwood game and he was almost back to his normal self with runs forward and tracking back clearing up...who knows how he feels now? One things for sure he isn't 100% focused..
I think the lad realises whilst he's here taking a wage he has to pay it back on the field...however..I'm sorry to say but he has shown his desire to leave and I for one wouldn't play him today as he is hindering the opportunity for someone who is at the club and wanting to stay to get a first team game...

So is it fair to assume the following. Leeds and RUFC agree a fee on Thursday. Evans assumes it's a done deal and brings in Taylor on loan from Ipswich same evening as a replacement.
Agard has permission to miss training on Friday for the Wolves game to go to Leeds and sign up but mysteriously wakes up thinking he's Didier Drogba after scoring 21 goals in the 3rd division and is sent packing after unrealistic wage demands.
Redant has suggested this above, but as Evans styles himself as a lower league Fergie it is surely more than likely that Agard has kicked his last ball in a Rotherham shirt.
Shame all round but especially for RUFC who would have made a tidy sum to go towards team strengthening on a player who probably lacks the touch to be a successful championship goal scorer.
