The Martin/Assombalonga debate needs to stop, to be honest. The two players serve completely different roles for their teams.

Martin could score as few as 8-10 goals this season, and he'd still be in the team. He, along with Bryson, were the main reason we were top scorers in the division last season. His hold up play is immense, and he's been our best player so far this season, perhaps along with Will.

Assombalonga is an excellent goalscorer. Would he fit Derby's system? Probably not. Martin perhaps wouldn't suit Forest's.

What we have here are two top class strikers at this level. Stop all the "only had 1 good season" talk. Use your eyes, both look better than anything else I've seen at this level. Jordan Rhodes and McCormack included.

And with that, the Defense rests, M'lud.

Only 3 more tonight, that makes 8 in 7 games. Slow down Britt it's still only September.

We didn't play well tonight but still managed to win. Not a bad habit to get into. Unfortunately Chris Cohen is out for the season with yet another cruciate injury.
How ****ing good will i look when i'm right, though!

Still believe he won't make 20. Might be wrong on Martin scoring more though. I'll admit that.[/quote]

Still early days, but, impressive prediction...?

Still a long way to go, going by 'averages' still then he should read 20 sometime around the 32nd game, but it's not like that.

Bold prediction for dave to make at the time but it's going alright so far!
