Yes, I have because exactly that is being reported on Twitter. So where are we now? We sack one manager without a suitable replacement being remotely close to being appointed. We appoint a "temporary" replacement who has no experience whatsoever of managing a squad of highly rated players in a very competitive environment. The new appointee then admits that he's not up to the job and suggests we approach one of yesterday's men to help him out, a suggestion that our multi-millionaire self made wonder business man owner readily agrees to. I'd have to say that if you wrote this into a film/tv script it would probably be rejected on the basis of being too far fetched!

Don't panic Mr Mainwaring - sorry Morris!

I can feel Saints fans and Pompey fans taking the **** already. The only good thing to come out of a Reddies Redkapp appointment is his dogs bank account.

I have tried hard to understand & accept Mels recent decisions. Clement must have done something non football related so bad that his position was untenable. MM must have decided that Wassell was the only person he could trust and so he gave him the job. However the latest revelation regarding Redknapp is bordering on farcical. There is no logic to it. HR lives on the south coast and is unlikely to want to spend much time in Derby. Mel probably wants someone like Harry at his side to bring a bit of showbiz to his life on match days. That's fair enough, Mel owns the club and has money, which always attracts people like Redknapp. Seems like MM will now do anything to prop up the hapless and unpopular Wassell. It's all going to end in tears.

He's not going to be 'Director of Football' in the sense we usually use it. Mere semantics.

He's here for eight weeks to work in an advisory role.

I don't really have an issue with that. Yet. I'll wait and see.

If he leans over when Wassall is thinking of replacing Thorne with a forward instead of Hanson and points out the pure folly of that at 3-0 up, it may not be too bad after all!

Why have one manager when you can have two!!??
MM must have £££s to burn.
This season gets more ridiculous by the day
Should've just gone for experience after SMc & avoided all this messing about
